​Jamaica Scorpions defeated the Leeward Islands Hurricanes by an innings and 73 runs in 3 days.

SKN PULSE, Basseterre, Sunday 18 December 2016 – The Leeward Islands played their first day-night match in the 2016 tournament at Warner Park in St.Kitts  last week Thursday against Jamaica Scorpions.

Having won the toss, the Hurricanes batted first and struggled as the Jamaicans were able to run through the top order in quick succession. The Leeward Islands were bowled out on the first day for 243 off 80.5 overs.

The Jamaicans utilised their momentum on the field and executed with the bat as they posted a total of 550/7 declared. The Scorpions went on to defeat the Leeward Islands Hurricanes by an Innings and 73 Runs within 3 Days.

Jahamar Hamilton 102, Rahkeem Cornwall 66. Bowling For Scorpions Damion Jacobs 5/103,Nikita Miller 2/49.

Jamaica Scorpions 550/7 Declared off 117.3 overs.55×4,22×6.
