BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 25TH 2017 – Multiple sources say there was a fight between rival gangs at Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) in Basseterre over the weekend.
Another source also say a prisoner suffering from stab wounds, was taken for surgery at the J.N. France General Hospital on Monday morning, but it was not immediately known whether the prisoner received injury during the fracas on Saturday.
Information is that the gang fight in the prison on Cayon Street on Saturday was between members of Tek Life and KMS.
It was not immediately known whether gang members were injured during the fight on Saturday, but there are reports of unspecified damage to the prison facility from the fighting.
