Adrian Williams wins Gold at Texas Relays; throws season best of 223 feet 3 inches

AUSTIN, Texas – St. Kitts and Nevis National Athlete, Adrian Williams – (Junior at Southeastern Louisiana) stamped his authority at the 91st staging of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays held at the Mike A. Myers Stadium, (University of Texas Campus) on Thursday, 29th March, 2018).

As one of two newcomers for Southeastern Louisiana, Williams, captured the men’s event in Section B with a season-best throw of 223 feet, 3 inches for the season.

Williams, who won by over nine feet, is enlisted as the third straight Lion to pick up a win at the Texas Relays.

According to Lionsports Devin King (pole vault) in 2016 and Alex Young (hammer throw) in 2017 were successful in winning gold when they featured at the Texas Relays.

Just last year, Adrian set a new national record of 69.34m when he represented his former School South Plains College.

This medium extends warmest congratulations to Mr. Williams on achieving his season best and winning gold.
