Former deputy Prime Minister in the Douglas led Administration, (1995-2013) and Ambassador to the United Nations, Sam Terrence Condor earlier today, Thursday May 21, at a live press conference announced his resignation from the post and threw his support behind Geoffrey Hanley and the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party for the upcoming June 5 poll.

Disappointed that his dream of a better St. Kitts hasn’t materialized, Condor emphasized that Team Unity has not fulfilled its good governance agenda he signed up for in 2015.

He said:

Regrettably they failed to present the good governance measures.

According to him, his task is yet unfinished. He plans to challenge any status quo that doesn’t address fairness and justice.

Being true to his ideals and principles, he said:

I must remain ever resolute and consistent.

It is more prudent to be part of a movement, the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, that has shown contrition for its mis-steps.

Responding to a question from Precious Mills, Condor also revealed that he is supporting the East Basseterre candidate in constituency #1 for the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, Geoffrey Hanley.

While Condor is at peace with his decisions, past and present, he implored the electorate to make wise decisions.

Citizen Condor in the ensuing weeks, will address in more details the episodes and observations that inform his decision.
