An autopsy carried out Wednesday (January 23) on the body of 28-year-old
Jahziel Jelani Liburd has concluded he was murdered.
A Police statement issued Thursday said Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Alexandrov had concluded the cause of Liburd’s death “was found to be as a result of gunshot wounds to the body.”
Jalani of Craddock Road, Nevis, succumbed to his injuries at the Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday, January 22.
According to the Police, investigations into the matter are ongoing.
