Charlestown, Nevis – Pre-schoolers dressed in professional attire marched through the streets of Charlestown on June 08, 2018, accompanied by teachers, parents, guardians and well-wishers at the Early Childhood Education’s 33rd annual Child Month Parade.

Led by the Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley and cabinet colleagues coupled with education officials, a procession started at the Old Hospital Road through to the Elquemedo T. Willett Park.

The parade formed part of the yearly activities for the month of June, dubbed Child Month.

The theme for this year is “Children’s Health, Safety and Security: Our Priority”.

A contingent from the Early Childhood Education Unit in St. Kitts also participated in the parade.
