His Excellency The Governor-General has with effect from 31 st October, 2019 appointed Mr Denzil Crooke O.B.E as Chairman of the Constituency Boundaries Commission. This appointment is in accordance with Section 49(1)(a) of the Constitution of Saint Christopher and Nevis which authorises the appointment of a Chairman by the Governor-General acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister after the Governor-General has consulted with the Leader of the Opposition.

This new Chairman succeeds Mr Calvin Pemberton who had been appointed as Chairman with effect from 15th November, 2018 and who submitted his resignation to His Excellency with effect from the 25th day of October, 2019.

The other Members of the Commission are The Honourable Vance Amory MP, JP and The Honourable Ian Patches Liburd MP, JP who were appointed acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and The Honourable Patrice Nisbett, MP, JP and the Honourable Konris Maynard, MH, MP who were appointed in accordance with the advice of the Leader of the Opposition.
