Earlier today, (Sunday 22, March) Grenada reported its first case of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
At a press briefing earlier this morning, officials reported that the case was imported.
According to the officials, the patient, a woman, traveled from the United Kingdom to the island on March 16 and began develop ing symptoms on March 17.
The patient is currently in isolation and contact tracing has begun.
