Infant dies in early morning car accident

BASSETERRE, SKNPULSE – According to an article from SKNVIBES a senior police officer has confirmed that an infant – who was involved in an early-morning traffic accident today (Jan. 14) – has died.

 

SKNVIBES stated that the Commander of District ‘B’ Mr. Lionel Moore informed them that the incident took place in Molineux early this morning around 7:55 a.m.

 

Further the article stated that Moore explained that according to the information he received, an individual identified as “Parris” of Phillips’ Village was driving motor car R897 which collided with a dumpster. 

 

Moreover,  Moore explained to SKNVIBES that at the time of incident, the vehicle was also occupied by the 4-month-old child and her mother, who were said to have been in the back seat.


Unfortunately, the infant died on the scene and the mother was transported to the hospital.


Earlier this week, 7 year old Leshawn Jones was struck by a passenger bus while crossing the island’s main road in Keys Village. He succumbed due to his injuries on Wednesday.
