Ivor Walters Primary School starts off tournament with a win

Youths on Nevis exhibited their football skills on Friday, 12th October, 2018 after the official opening of the Primary School Football Tournament. Three matches were played, Ivor Walters Primary School beat the Joycelyn Liburd Primary school 1 goal to Nil.

With scores tied nil all at the half, it was anybody’s game. Minutes into the second half, a blunder by JLPS resulted in an own goal by Ashley Parris Jr. that saw IWPS gaining an advantage and suddenly they began attacking the goal more but without much success.

The end result, IWPS – 1 vs. JLPS – 0.

In other matches played: Charlestown Primary School and the St. Thomas’ Primary School were winners in their encounters on that day.

CPS – 2 vs. EPPS – 0
The goal scorers for Charlestown were Andrew Hanley and Jaden Gordon.

MVP for EPPS was Kamal Brandy and the MVP for CPS was Niza’iah Skeete.

STPS – 6 vs. VOJN – 0

For the STPS Adrian Williams scored 5 goals and Aljalon Chapman 1.

The MVP for STPS was Adrian Williams
