Basseterre, St.Kitts – Nevis – Young Jermaine Francis of St. Kitts is now the new CARIFTA U20 Boys High Jump record holder, (a feat he accomplished at the 2017 CARIFTA Games held in Curacao).

Francis rose to the occasion and succesfully defended his crown in the Mens U20 High Jump to not only win Gold but etched his name in the CARIFTA Games record books.

Francis won the competition last year with a jump of 2.11m.
