Leon Natta among four nominees for Coach of the Year at SKNFA Crystal Awards

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 14, 2018 – Lodge Patriots coach, Leon Natta, is among four nominees for Coach of the Year at the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) first-ever Crystal Awards this weekend.

The Player of the Year will also be announced at the black-tie event on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino.

Natta has been coaching the Lodge Patriots for the past 7 years. He is also President of the club.

Other nominees for Coach of the Year 2017/2018 are: Vaughan Patrick, ManTab; Lance Lewis, Old Road and Leon Norford of Trafalgar SouthStars.
The three Nominees for Player of the Year 2017/2018 are Jermaine Carrey, ManTab; Trafalgar Southstars, Kishaun “Fire” Liburd and Tyquani Williams of United Old Road Jets.

The Crystal Awards organised by the SKNFA recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of the footballers in the local leagues.

The aim of the SKNFA is for this event to become a prestigious annual ceremony in the Federation.

The historic event has as its theme, “Performance, Appreciation and Recognition” and is expected to attract 500 persons from the local communities, government officials and the private sector.

The SKNFA said the theme captures the event’s intent to highlight the positive achievements of young people through football.
