MINISTRY MOURNS PASSING OF EDUCATION STALWARTS

The Ministry of Education is deeply saddened by the recent passing of two stalwarts of the teaching fraternity – Mr. Vincent Inniss and Mr. Clement Bouncin Williams.

Mr. Vincent Inniss served in the area of Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) for many years. His last assignment was Principal of the St. Kitts – Nevis Technical College now the Division of Technical and Vocational, Educational and Management Studies at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.

Mr. Clement Bouncin Williams taught science for many years at various high schools in St. Kitts. The Sandy Point High School (SPHS) now the Charles E Mills Secondary (CEMSS) was the place where Mr. Williams laboured for most of his years in the classroom. He was also a Curriculum Development Officer, National local invigilator for CXC exams, Coordinator High School Sciences and Caribbean Examination Council Examiner for Chemistry. Bouncin is also known for his creative pieces especially plays he wrote and/or performed in.

The Minister of Education, Hon. Shawn K. Richards and the entire Education Ministry extend heartfelt sympathies to the families of both former educators – Mr. Vincent Inniss and Mr. Clement Bouncin Williams who passed recently. Condolences also extended to their neighbours, friends and former colleagues who now mourn their passing.
