Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 26, 2018 (SKNIS): The Order Paper has been circulated for a sitting of the National Assembly to be held at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, on Wednesday 28th March, 2018, at 10:00 am. Notice has been given.

The Honourable Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Sustainable Development, National Security, People Empowerment and Constituency Empowerment, Dr. Timothy Harris, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time The Common Reporting Standards (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and The Credit Reporting Bill, 2018.

The Honourable Attorney General and Minister responsible for Justice and Legal Affairs and Communications, Senator Vincent Byron, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time The National Assembly Elections (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and The Criminal Records (Rehabilitation of Offenders) (Amendment Bill), 2018.Additionally, he will read a second time The Magistrates Code of Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2018, which had its first reading on 14thNovember, 2017; The Freedom of Information Bill, 2018, which had its first reading on 15th September, 2015; and The Data Protection Bill, 2018, which had its first reading on 15thSeptember, 2015.

The Honourable Minister of State within the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender Affairs and Social Services, Senator Wendy Phipps, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time The Social Protection Bill, 2018.

The National Assembly will be carried live on ZIZ Radio (96 FM) and participating radio stations. It can also be viewed live on TV Channel 5 in St. Kitts and Channel 98 in Nevis. It will also be streamed live at www.zizonline.com
