Nevis Starts Title Defence With Win Over St Maarten

The Nevis Masters Team commenced their Masters title defence with a 7 wicket victory over St. Martin yesterday in Antigua, (host country).

Led by Carl Tuckett, the Nevis team which includes the likes of Stuart Williams, Derick Parry, Virgil Browne and Joel Simmonds made light work of the St. Martin team.

Batting first, St. Martin made 132 for 8 in 20 overs. Parry, Browne and Williams bagged two wickets each.

Nevis managed to reach the target with 3 overs to spare and seven wickets in hand. Audie Liburd topped scored with 56* not out.

Nevis is in Zone 1 with St. Martin and host Antigua. Matches are scheduled for Liberta and All Staints.
