Former Nevis, Leeward Islands and West Indies cricket all-rounder now regional Cricket Umpire, Carl Tuckett is presently in Toronto Canada where he is officiating in the Canada Global T20 tournament that began on Thursday 25th July 2019.

Mr. Tuckett was an on-field umpire in today’s encounter between Montreal Tigers and Winnipeg Hawks. The game was played at CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario and it began at 4.30 (pm) local time.

Winnipeg Hawks electing to field first, restricted Montreal Tigers to 135/3 in their allotted overs. The game was reduced to 12 overs per innings.

Tigers then restricted Hawks to 111/5 to gain maximum points.

Montreal Tigers player, Sunil Narine gained Player of the Match honours.

This isn’t the first time that the Nevisian Umpire would have officiated in International matches. In 2016, Tuckett officiated in the ICC World Cricket League, Division Four. Tuckett has been getting extremely good reviews from captains and their teams.

Nevisians, Kittitians and Leeward Islanders would be looking forward to the day when he would be called to do duty at the Test-Level.
