Basseterre, SKN PULSE – Shakira Pitt sponsored by the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank and Desyl Hamilton sponsored by Office World St. Maarten were the top performers last night at the second annual Miss National Carnival Swimwear and Mr. GQ competiton.
Miss National Carnival Swimwear was won by Ms. Shakira Pitt who was sponsored by St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank. 1st runner up went to Nakilah Watson and Raven Richards placed 2nd runner up.
The Segments awards for Miss National Carnival Swimwear were as follows:

Best in Body Painting – Nakilah Watson
Best in National Pride Creative Wear – Nakilah Watson
Best in Identical Swimwear – Shakira Pitt
Best in Onstage Interview – Shakira Pitt

Chairperson’s Award – Kachiana Robin
Miss Photogenic – Shakira Pitt
Miss Amity – Zena Hyman
Best Platform Project – Zena Hyman
The Reigning Mr. Kool De Syl Hamilton was crowned Mr GQ 2016 – 2017. Hamilton sponsored by Office World St. Maarten, now has the distinction of winning two crowns in the same year. The first being the Mr. Kool contest that was held in Nevis during the Culturama activities in August.
Joseph Tudor placed first runner up and Kevin Adams a former Mr. Kool winner placed 2nd runner up.
