POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION INTO WOMAN’S DEATH

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 22, 2018 (RSCNPF): At about 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, police in Gingerland responded to a report at Buck Hill. There they found the lifeless body of a woman in a house on Hanleys Road.

The body has since been identified as that of 45-year-old Shirley Dawn Morton of Hanleys Road. She had visible injuries to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Chandy Jacobs. The scene was processed and a number of items of evidential value were taken into police custody.

The owner of the house and boyfriend of the deceased, Wayne ‘Spyer’ Chapman, is currently being sought by the police in connection with the incident.
