Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 06, 2017 (RSCNPF): Head of the Security Forces, Mr. Ian M. Queeley, Commissioner of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force Police and Lt. Col Patrick Wallace, Commander of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force are appreciative for the push given to their recruiting efforts by Prime Minister and Minister of National Security Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris during his monthly press conference on Wednesday (April 5).

 

Prime Minister Harris in his opening statement echoed an ongoing recruiting call for young men and women in St. Kitts and Nevis to consider a career in the security forces.  He said, the Police and Defence Force would be strengthened by some 100 plus persons this year. 


 

And noted that already that the Defence Force has 26 new recruits awaiting training while the Police Service is recording that training has started for 34 in training “Training Class 41.”  Prime Minister Harris added that there are additional opportunities for our Nations youth in the Security Forces.
