St. Kitts and Nevis,  SKNP – The Sugar Boyz are back in the news again…. More Good news…. The Ratings have gone up.

The new FIFA rankings were released today,  Thursday 20 October and St. Kitts and Nevis continues to defy the odds as they climbed Four spots in the Rankings.

A feat that is worthy of recognition as they continue to improve.

With 472 points,  they climbed 4 spots up from 77th to 73rd. Noticeably ahead of Jamaica,  Antigua and Barbuda,  Haiti, Kenya and Honduras . The three top tier teams are Argentina (1621), Germany (1465) and Brazil (1410) .

This bodes well for football in St. Kitts and Nevis because it highlights that the infrastructure that is in place like the grassroots program,  the women’s football, more training for senior players,  coaches and technical staff is paying dividends.

Further,  the inclusion of national overseas based players has also complimented the team well.

Kudos to the Team, the association   and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
