The State of Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC) 2018 was held on Paradise Island, Bahamas from October 1-5: As part of the activities, Caribbean Territories participated in the Youth Congress. Winner of the congress held on October 4, was Bryanna Hylton of Jamaica.

Both St. Kitts and Nevis participated along with 16 other Caribbean territories.

St. Kitts was represented by Junior Minister of Tourism Aushuan Brown, of the Charles E. Mills Secondary School. While Nevis was represented by Recardoe Rodrigues of the Charlestown Secondary School.

Students were accompanied by their Teacher/Coach.

The Caribbean Tourism Youth Congress is an integral part of CTO’s annual tourism conference and is a regional activity involving students between the ages of 14-17 from CTO member countries.
