St. Kitts and Nevis records 12th murder Saturday night, one injured

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, June 4th 2017 – A second murder within 24 hours in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Two young men, one a businessman, were shot in Taylor’s Village, St. Kitts on Saturday night. One died at the scene and the businessman is said to be fighting for his life at the J.N. France General Hospital. Police have not released the names of the two men.

Friday night 37-year-old Lydia Jacobs was gunned down outside her home in Church Ground, Nevis.

Saturday night’s incident pushes the number of murders for the year to 12, six on St. Kitts and six on Nevis.
