Third Chinese supermarket robbed in two weeks

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 7TH2017 – Another Chinese supermarket was robbed Sunday….the third Chinese-owned supermarket in the past two weeks.

A video circulating on social media shows two armed and masked  bandits entering the David Lee Supermarket in New Road on Sunday afternoon around 4 ‘o’ clock.

It was immediately know how much money was stolen or how many patrons were in the supermarket at the time.

Robbery of a second Chinese supermarket was also confirmed on Sunday. The “Best Grocery” on the corner of Central Street and Shaw Avenue in Basseterre was robbed two Wednesdays ago.

On Wednesday 2ndAugust, the Daily Foods outlet in Russell Village was robbed for the fourth time.

Police have issued no reports on these incidents.
