Cricket legend Brian Charles Lara was rushed to Mubai’s Global Hospital in India after experiencing Chest Pains earlier today.
According to the Press Trust of India (PTI) news agency, a source close to the Lara said that the 50-year-old was rushed to the hospital after complaining of discomfort during a promotional event. However, ‘there is nothing much to worry about’, says another media report.
The cricket legend was in Mumbai to take part in events organised by Star Sports, the official broadcasters of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup in India.
Lara is expected to resume duty on the eve of the India vs West Indies match to be played on June 27.
