According to the UWI Seismic Research Centre in Trinidad, a burst of 54 earthquakes has been recorded near the island of St Kitts.
The bursts took place from December 6 at 4:28 pm to December 7 at 9:50 am.
“The events were in the magnitude range of 1.2 to 4.1. There have been no felt reports thus far,” said the UWI institution said.
Several residents on St. Kitts reported an earthquake being felt in St. Kitts and Nevis Thursday night (December 6) via social media.
