(Press Release)
While crime in Antigua and Barbuda continues to spiral out of control, late last night, 26 armed police in 8 cars were dispatched to the business place and branch office of Michael Burton, the UPP Candidate for St. John’s City south.
The police claimed they were searching for “guns, ammo and drugs”, and predictably found nothing.
During the search an attempt was made to access Burton’s computer at the branch office.
It is no coincidence that this political terrorism is being unleashed by Attorney General, Mr. Benjamin who Burton is opposing in the City South race.
This blatant deplorable action further underscores the UPP’s existing demands for Benjamin’s resignation from all ministerial portfolios.
