Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 20, 2017 –Police investigating a shooting incident Wednesday night have cordoned off Upper Shaw Avenue between Cayon Street and Central Street.

Scores of police are on the scene and are collecting spent shells.

Neighbors in the area report hearing multiple gunshots.

“Masked men came out of a black vehicle and began firing at a male person who fled the scene.
