Allen Keele Trains Public servants as ISO 27001 Information Security Lead Implementers and Internal Controls Architects

The Department of Technology in the Ministry of Justice, Legal Affairs and Communications, Government of St. Kitts and Nevis in collaboration with Mr. Allen Keele, Principal of Certified Information Security Inc. will host a two (2) day Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and Internal Controls Architect Training and Certification workshop from January 30 – 31, 2019, 8;30 am – 4:00 pm at the National ICT Center.

The Comprehensive ISO 27001 Information Security Policy Training is an advanced follow on workshop to the ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management Training Workshop held in July 2018. The training will prepare participants to be eligible for professional certification as Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (s) and Internal Controls Architect (s), who can effectively manage the threats and risks to Government’s information by establishing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) based on international standards.

On Friday February 1, 2019, (time still to be determined), Attorney General Vincent Byron of the Ministry of Justice, Legal Affairs and Communications, Government of St. Kitts and Nevis in collaboration with Mr. Allen Keele, Principal of Certified Information Security Inc., will host a certificate ceremony to award the CICRA credential to twenty-two persons who passed the IS0 31000 Enterprise Risk Management certification exam and are now Certified Internal Controls Risk Analysts (CICRAs).
