Anya Seetahal of the Washington Archibald High School and Mighty Sookie of the Charlestown Secondary School crowned Miss Talented Teen and Junior Teenage Monarch respectively

SKN PULSE –  Our nation’s youth showcased their various talents last night, (Tuesday 26th December, 2017) as they competed in the Miss Talented Teen Pageant and the Junior Teenage Calypso competition which forms part of the annual Sugar Mas festivities. Anya Seetahal of the Washington Archibald High School and The Mighty Sookie of the Charlestown Secondary School walked away as Victor’s having impressed the judges. 

Patrons were treated with two shows for the price of one as the young ladies graced the stage in various segments namely: Ambassadorial Speech and Wear, Talent, Formal Teenage Evening Wear and Interview while the Junior Calypsonians performed in song. 

Miss WAHS walked away with numerous awards as she copped Best Ambassadorial Speech, Best Talent, Best In Teenage Formal Evening Wear, Miss Photogenic, Miss Amity and Most popular online. 

Mighty Sookie, regained his crowned after amassing 342 points beating his competitors, Mighty T, Simply Mighty, Empress Tres and Kimberly Loran Smikle.
The final results are as follows: 

Miss Talented Teen 2017 – 2018: ANYA SEETAHAL , Miss WAHS ( 963 points)


1st runner up: Miss VHS ( 821.5 points)


2nd runner up:  Miss CEMSS (810.5 points)


3rd runner: Miss ICCS (758.5 points)


Best Ambassadorial Speech: Miss WAHS (146 points)


Best Ambassadorial Wear: Miss VHS (85.5 points)


Best Talent: Miss WAHS ( 342.5 points)


Best in Formal Teenage Evening Wear: Miss WAHS (150 points)


Best Interview: Miss WAHS (239.5 points)
