A mid-morning shooting incident in George Street area, New Town, has left one man nursing gun shot(s) wound(s).
According to witnesses, around 10:50 am, a male was shot in the alleyway next to the Chinese supermarket.
Up to press time, the full extent of his injuries and identity were not known.
Police were present on the scene as well as emergency personnel.
Investigations are ongoing.
