The autopsy performed on the body of 81-year-old Conrade Simon of Wellington Road on Monday, October 19, by Resident Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez concluded that his death was caused by traumatic shock as a result of the traffic incident.

In a report issued last week, police investigations revealed that around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 15) while Clarke was travelling along Cayon Street, driving motorcycle PB 5341, Simon, 81, had stepped down from the sidewalk onto the roadway in the vicinity of the pedestrian crossing on Pond Road. Clarke collided with Simon, who later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Dr. Nunez concluded that death was due to traumatic shock as a consequence of multiple traumatic injuries due to the traffic accident.

Clarke has since being charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
