Upgrades For Google My Business Listings

A business online presence is crucial to driving leads. Utilising Google My Business is a cost effective avenue businesses may use to stay relevant online.

Google has introduced four new options for Google My Business listings that has made it even more worthwhile.

They are:

1. Welcome offers

To drive sales, Google now offers businesses the ability to provide customers ‘Welcome Offers’. This would be geared towards new customers who follow businesses within the Google App.

2. Custom URLs

Through Google brands will now be able to claim a short name and URL for their business inorder to refer customers to their profiles. Soon short names will be searchable in maps.

3. New visual options

Google has also added new options for cover photos and photo displays. This upgrade allows the newly uploaded images to show instantly on Google My Business profiles.

Added to this, Businesses will now be able to upload custom logos for their profiles which would be displayed at the top right-hand side of their profile.

4. Stickers and offline promo materials

A new website by Google will allow businesses to download and order custom assets for their business. These assets would include physical stickers. The aim is to help promote bookings, prompt reviews and encourage follows for Google My Business profiles.
